I like to think of myself a very patient person, I can wait a long time for things that are generally out of my control, but even I have my limits. I want this update to be huge, give you all an overhaul on day 1, touch ups on every other scene to reign the characters in, add the new sprites I worked so hard on, custom backgrounds, and eventually better music. I'd still like to implement those eventually, but as more and more time passes with me being unable to retrieve a good chunk of the data from the computer that has about half of those assets on it, I'm considering more and more just downloading it off this page, taking the pre-existing sprites and backgrounds, and just redoing the writing so I can get on with this project while I wait for the finalized assets to come in.

But to me, this feels cheap. All this waiting, and for some writing updates, I don't like the thought of that. To me that's an insult to everyone who reads this in the future, who has read this in the past, and who has enjoyed it. Even if some content is better than none, I want to make something that's worth people's time, that they enjoy, to make them smile, and laugh, because of my silly little fuckers.

So, to get straight to the point now, I've decided to call on you, to get your opinions. Linked Here is a poll, with two options. One, I can hold this update out longer, but I can't set any sort of release date. It could be a couple months, it could be more, could even take a year, I don't know. Option two, I just get to writing, but leave the visuals lacklustre. With outdated sprites, who's expressions won't change too much too often, and stock photos with a filter over it for backgrounds. But, I can promise an update within a couple of months, maybe less depending on how much I get done with the writing.
